    The 20th annual "The Taste of Amelia Island" a culinary fair to benefit the Nassau County Volunteer Center, will be held
Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Ballroom. The theme of this year is "Ring in the Holiday Season!"
   

TRAINING
The Non-Profit Leadership Institute provides workshops in partnership with the Florida State College of Nassau. Consulting assistance is available to non-profit (501(c)(3)) agencies.

RECRUITING
Each year more than 3,000 volunteers from the Center assist area non-profits. The Skills Bank and Community Board Bank connect volunteers with skills to agencies that need these skills to achieve their service mission.

HELP SERVE
Businesses help through the Corporate Volunteer Council... Individuals help through agencies. Results benefit children, adults, senior and handicapped. The center administers FEMA Funds to partner agencies.

The Center recognizes the contributions made by local volunteers. We also raise the funds required to maintain our level of service and develop new programs.

The Nassau Volunteer Center staff provides technical assistance and presentations to organizations and individuals interested in volunteering. The center will help you pick and connect you with right agency for your interests.

Have Fun Helping Others!

    Volunteer Nassau Christmas Border Twenty restaurants and wine purveyors will highlight their excellent cuisines and fine wines. Cocktails will be served from 6:30pm to 7:00pm and the Taste itself will be from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Music will be provided by "Crescendo Amelia" and a silent action of unique items will be held. Semi-formal attire is required.
Convenient parking is available.
