Exceptional Student Education:  
Volunteer Needs:  
  • Classroom assistants who would be comfortable helping students with mathematics in and ESE classroom (especially people comfortable assisting students in Algebra and Algebra II.)
  
Material Needs:  
  • Individualized instruction materials dealing with math: Math manipulatives and math games that can be used by Secondary math students
  
Holiday Projects:  
  • Holiday decorations or ideas/materials for students to make their own decorations.
  
 
Guidance Office:  
Volunteer Needs:  
  • Someone to answer the phone Monday - Friday.
  • Receptionist/clerical work during school hours (7:30 am - 4 pm), Monday-Friday during school year and Monday-Thursday during summer vacation.
  
 
Health Careers Department:  
Volunteer Needs:  
  • Assist students in classroom in practice sessions - nursing background & computer skills helpful but not required.
  • Help with materials organization and set up.

Our purpose is to provide military orientation/familiarization for high school students.

  • Manual labor to assist with construction of an obstacle course
Material Needs:
  • Materials to construct an obstacle course: 4x4 posts; 2x4 posts; nails (assorted); nuts & bolts; cargo netting; telephone poles; railroad ties; 1 1/2" galvanized pipe; auger (post hole digger); wood chips
