Communities In Schools (CIS) surrounds students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Through a school-based coordinator, Communities in Schools provides prescriptive services to schools and students and connects students and their families to critical community resources, based on their needs.

Volunteer Needs:
Math, reading, and science tutors Career coaches and "Graduation" coaches Guest career speakers (all occupations) Administrative, data entry and grant writing Communication volunteers to write and publish hard copy information and website updates

Material Needs: Printer, copy paper Math and reading materials (flash cards) Board games/craft supplies Cork bulletin boards Easel paper New computer/flat screen


Special Projects:
Summer Remediation College experience "camp" at Flagler College After school tutoring and special development Jaguars Honor Rows Program and Game Day

Volunteers must be 21 years old or older.
