The Barnabas Center serves citizens of Nassau County who are in crisis with emergency food and help with rent, utility bills and other essentials. New-to-You has inexpensive clothing for sale. Free clothing may be given with vouchers from Barnabas Center.

Volunteer Needs:
Receptionists In-take interviewers Cashiers Office help, pantry workers, sorters, pricers Medical professionals--Physicians, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners,Physicians Assistants, Dental professionals Persons with pharmacy background comfortable with computers

Material Needs:
Food Office Equipment New Christmas toys and clothes

Special Projects:
Post Office Food Drive (May) Winter Wonderland (November) Spring Fling (March)

Volunteers need to be 21 years of age or older.
