  • Recruited 3308 volunteers recruited
  • Maintained Community Board Bank
  • Continued the Nassau County Nonprofit Leadership Institute; (Sponsored 2 workshops - 15 agencies)
  • Maintained Community Information & Referral Service, 831 calls received
  • Continued Holiday Program - 375 families, 1,010 clients, of which 557 were children (Adopt-A-Family)
  • Coordinated the City of Fernandina Beach Volunteer of the Year
  • Co-sponsored Rayonier's "Concerned Good Citizen" Volunteer Award
  • Co-sponsored Volunteer of the Year Awards with Town of Hilliard, Greater Nassau Chamber of Commerce, Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach/Yulee Chamber of Commerce, Nassau Sheriff's Department, Smurfit-Stone and The Fernandina Beach Optimist Club, Town of Callahan
  • Co-sponsored proclamations for National Volunteer Week
  • Sponsored 21st Annual Volunteer Awards Luncheon - 400 attended and 11 awards presented
  • Published quarterly "Volunteer Visions" newsletter - distributed over 4000 annually
  • Continued administration of $12,000 in FEMA funds to local agencies
  • Continued coordination of Corporate Volunteer Council.
    14 corporations are members.  2005-2006 projects included G.O.K.I.D.S. supplies for countywide students - $9,500 worth of supplies and gift certificates distributed to 16 county schools; Hosted a Spring Fling Dinner & Dance for senior citizens (275 attended and took second place in the walking category at the eight Flags Shrimp Festival Parade)
  • Co-sponsored annual Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive with Nassau County Girl Scouts, Collected 950lbs.
  • Co-sponsored food drive with St. Michael's Academy
  • Maintained free notary services for nonprofit agencies
  • Maintained website volunteernassau.org
  • Served as collection site for donations for victims of Katrina and oversaw the disaster fund for victims
