Plans are underway for the 25th Annual Volunteer Awards Luncheon, scheduled to be held on Thursday, April 22, 2010
from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Atlantic Avenue Recreation Center.

This years's theme is
A Silver Anniversary
- Celebrating 25 Years of Service to Nassau County-

The luncheon will be sponsored by Rayonier.

        TRAINING
The Non-Profit Leadership Institute provides workshops in partnership with the Florida State College of Nassau. Consulting assistance is available to non-profit (501(c)(3)) agencies.

        RECRUITING
Each year more than 3,000 volunteers from the Center assist area non-profits. The Skills Bank and Community Board Bank connect volunteers with skills to agencies that need these skills to achieve their service mission.

Businesses help through the Corporate Volunteer Council... Individuals help through agencies. Results benefit children, adults, senior and handicapped. The center administers FEMA Funds to partner agencies.
